Write about something in the arts that interests you. This may be a single work of art, an artist in general, an institution, a historical movement, a form or medium, or really anything, so long as it generates excitement or moves you in some way. It’s ok if you don’t have an immediate sense of what to explore. Start with jotting down a few things that have sparked interest in the past and begin to do a cursory search on them. This may lead you to find one especially interesting, to see patterns across them or they may “accidentally” lead you to find something you didn’t even know existed.
No matter which category you fall under, though, we will use the office hours conversation to hone in on and clarify the scope of your project together so you have a road map to proceed.
